When ARB joined the Solar & Storage LIVE Africa 2025 line-up, they weren’t just showing up, they were making a statement. As one of Southern Africa’s largest black-empowered electrical wholesalers, ARB came ready to showcase their energy solutions to a buzzing industry audience. And when it came to making an impact, they called us in to turn strategy into standout.
The challenge
When ARB, one of Southern Africa’s largest black-empowered electrical wholesalers, signed on for Solar & Storage LIVE Africa 2025, they needed more than just a presence – they needed to make an impact. With a high-energy, high-stakes industry event on the horizon, the challenge was to design and deliver an activation that matched the power of their product offering, attracted meaningful leads, and positioned them well ahead of their competitors.
Design and deliver an activation that matched the power of their product offering.
This three-day event at the Nasrec Convention Centre brought together the continent’s energy leaders, innovators, and suppliers. ARB needed an exhibition experience just as powerful as the products they were there to promote. From pre-event prep to on-the-ground support, we brought the full Coffee Creative team into play.
Designing Every Touchpoint
We handled the full design rollout for ARB’s activation. From digital screens to flyers, branded water bottles and coffee sleeves, every element was crafted to grab attention and tell the brand story with clarity and confidence. We also developed a sleek, event-specific landing page that served as a digital handshake for attendees and supported ARB’s data collection campaign.
From Foot Traffic to Digital Leads
To boost interaction, we created a competition mechanic that pulled people in and gave them a reason to stay connected beyond the event. All leads were funnelled through the landing page and email system, ensuring that every name captured became part of ARB’s long-term conversation. This was well received with 342 landing views and a total of 211 form submissions.
Staffing, Strategy, and Standby Support
Being an integrated agency means delivering more than just great visuals. We sourced a container for the stand’s coffee shop, arranged a barista to run it, and secured event promotional staff who were carefully briefed to ensure every interaction at the stand reflected ARB’s values. Our CEO and ARB’s dedicated Account Executive were both on-site, working late nights (and early mornings) in the lead-up to ensure everything ran smoothly. Having someone from our team there every day meant quick decisions, real-time problem-solving, and a collaborative rhythm that made the entire activation seamless.
Capturing the Moment
Our videographer was on the ground on Day 1, capturing the stand’s energy, interaction, and detail in action. This was later crafted into a dynamic wrap-up video, giving ARB a powerful piece of content to share internally and externally to celebrate the success.
Client Feedback That Made Our Week
As the event wrapped, we received feedback from ARB that summed up the project perfectly:
“I think the stand came out beautifully. You guys did an incredible job. All the elements really came together so well in the end. Just a big thanks to you, Tayla, and the rest of the team for your commitment and being a part of this whole project and obviously going up and getting it done and over the line over the last couple of days. I really appreciate everything you’ve put in, and it’s been awesome having you partner with us and work alongside us.”
“Just wanna say again, thank you so much. The stand was awesome, and very busy over the last three days. I think it was definitely very valuable. We outshone our competitors by a complete mile. Thank you very much to your team. It really, really was incredible. Really appreciate it.”

Integrated, On-Site, and All-In
This project was a great reminder of the value of true collaboration. From concept to execution, we worked side-by-side with the ARB team to create an activation space that delivered on every front: visually, strategically, and experientially. Event management is more than just ticking boxes; it’s about creating a moment that feels effortless and is built on careful planning and creative precision.
