For the sixth year, we had the privilege of working alongside the organisers of the Shongweni High Goal Polocrosse, delivering design assets to real-time content. As one of South Africa’s most prestigious equestrian events, our aim was to elevate both the on-site atmosphere and digital presence, capturing every detail of elegance, pace and power. The Shongweni High Goal Polocrosse draws attention from audiences across the globe. Our challenge was to provide fast, live, on-the-ground updates that made distant followers feel as though they were right beside the field. At the same time, we needed to capture key moments for those in attendance – from action shots of players mid-play to sponsor coverage and proud highlights for families and partners. These are the moments that matter, the ones people want to look back on and share.

Live Coverage Across All Days

The event began with an elegant cocktail evening at Westown Square, setting the tone for a weekend of premium sport and hospitality. From that point on, our six-person content team worked in rotation to deliver continuous live coverage over three full event days

All that content led to powerful numbers. Engagements topped 4,820 on Instagram and 3,858 on Facebook, proving that our audience wasn’t just watching – they were interacting. Behind those numbers were moments of connection, pride and visibility for everyone involved.

Creative That Elevated the Experience

We approached every touchpoint with a focus on quality. From signage and print materials to 16 custom-designed social media posts, the event’s visual identity remained polished and cohesive. Our photographic team captured a total of 2,103 images, making sure no moment – from a winning goal to a sponsor’s branded backdrop – went unnoticed.

The direction

Our creative direction for this year struck a balance between grounded elegance and competitive energy. Inspired by the Shongweni landscape, we used a natural colour palette with bold, clear design to ensure everything from stories to signage felt premium but accessible. Every asset was crafted to honour the sport, spotlight the sponsors and invite the audience in.
