On World Ocean Day, we had the privilege of capturing something truly meaningful: a partnership between SA Home Loans and Breathe Conservation, brought to life through a sunrise ocean swim filled with purpose and passion. As a co-sponsor, SA Home Loans showed up not just with support, but with people, presence and pride. Coffee Creative was on site to document it all, from live stories and feed posts to interviews and a final highlight reel capturing the heart of the day.
The event
Held on Durban’s coastline, the event was hosted by Breathe Conservation, a foundation focused on ocean conservation through awareness, education and community engagement. The swim symbolised unity and action, and SA Home Loans played a key role in supporting the cause both financially and personally, with their Umhlanga branch team taking part in the swim alongside fellow supporters.

A major part of the event was storytelling. We captured interviews with Sarah Ferguson, founder of Breathe Conservation, who spoke with conviction about ocean health and responsibility. We also interviewed SA Home Loans Executive Management, who attended in full support – showing not just corporate backing, but personal investment.
