I, the undersigned applicant, hereby acknowledge and agree as follows:
1. Consent to Verification
I voluntarily consent to Coffee Creative Studio, its representatives, or appointed agents, to verify, request, and reference any and all personal information I have provided as part of my employment application. This includes, but is not limited to, the verification of identity, qualifications, employment history, credit records, and any other information reasonably required to assess my suitability for employment.
2. POPIA Compliance
I understand that Coffee Creative Studio will process my personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA), and that:
– My information will only be used for lawful purposes relating to my employment application.
– My information will be safeguarded and kept confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or with my further consent.
– I have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of my personal information held by Coffee Creative Studio, subject to legal and business requirements.
3. Indemnity
I indemnify Coffee Creative Studio, its employees, and agents against any liability, claim, or damages that may arise as a result of the legitimate verification and reference-checking process carried out in good faith and in accordance with POPIA.
4. Duration
This consent shall remain valid for the duration of my application process and, if successful, for the period of my employment with Coffee Creative Studio, unless revoked in writing by me.
